MELIKE

Melike was born in Samsun in 1980. In 1994, she started studying art at Anatolian Fine Arts High School Painting Department in Izmir. While studying at the Painting Department of Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts in 1998-2003,  she worked on the Performative Acting and Staging Method which is  developed by Şahika Tekand at Studio Players in Istanbul. Also she took part in the cast of the team over the years. Melike completed  master's degree in Yildiz Technical University Faculty of Art and Design on 2019 with thesis titled “Choreographic Object in the Works of Robert Rauschenberg, William Forsythe, Jérôme Bel in the Interdisciplinary Art Context”. She is living and studying in Istanbul.
